Club meetings are always fun, usually approximately two hours in length, and available both online and in-person. They are pre-programmed, with members being assigned speaking roles ahead of the meeting to allow preparation time. Assignments are timed to help members learn to speak to a specific time frame.

Guests are welcome to attend for free for up to three meetings to see if they enjoy the format and are invited to participate in the impromptu session, but not pressed to speak if they choose to pass.  

Other events include Club Connect meetings – these are held in Queensland three times a year and are Saturday events of usually around 7 hours length. They are a training day where members deliver and participate in enjoyable workshops and interactive training to improve their speaking skills. These are always fun and low-cost days, usually less than $30 to attend. Guests are welcome with paid registration in advance of the meeting.

There is also an annual conference, usually 2 – 3 days in length in the third weekend in May. Here, higher level training is provided, the annual general meeting held, and the Association speech contest run. The cost for this varies with each conference and is borne by the attendees.  Guests are welcome with advance registration.

All events are planned and facilitated by members, who come from all walks of life. Thus members not only get experience speaking at a conference, but also gain experience in planning and coordinating events.
